Type of study: Video call (Group)
🎁 $100.00 USD when you've completed the study
(+$50 referral bonus per qualified participant who completes)
I hope this will not be considered 'spam' as I have been involved in this site for many years---
and thus KNOW that many DUers would actually be interested in this, probably even without the money,
as much as we discuss frequently discuss legal issues on this site... and many users are 'retired' and
would have the time to spare and are possibly sometimes 'bored' as I am---
and I have never posted anything like this before, and don't expect to make a habit of it---
BUT, (full disclosure) if you apply and are chosen to participate,
and complete the study,
I WILL be paid $50 (while YOU will be paid $100!)

(5,116 posts)"Bueller? Bueller?" is a famous, iconic catchphrase from the 1986 comedy film Ferris Bueller's Day Off. It is spoken by actor Ben Stein, playing an economics teacher conducting roll call to an empty seat in a bored, monotonous drone. This phrase is used in pop culture to signal silence or a lack of response.

(56,853 posts)which I am very reluctant to do, and I didn't see anything legal-related. mostly corporate and AI in corporate related topics.
did signing up but not actually doing a task through your link help you? I didn't see any info on that other than offering similar deal for me to recruit.

(5,116 posts)Maybe this one doesn't show up on its list because their requirements have been filled,
but I get notices from time to time about other mock jury type studies.
No, I get nothing out of the signup alone, unless you eventually do something.
Yes, many of the studies are focus groups through Zoom, but some studies are listed as 'unmoderated' and web-based.
Thanks for the attempt at helping, anyway!

(13,315 posts)Doing this? I have been doing yougov surveys since they were polling point over 15 yrs ago and it basically pays nothing a gift certificate for $25 after a years worth of surveys.
I started it for fun and enjoy that my opinion is on there somewhere especially politically.

(5,116 posts)a Windows 7 computer without the first major 'service package' update,
and don't think I can even RUN Zoom on it (although I haven't tried yet)---
but the payments they are offering are much MUCH better than from YouGov
or any other internet 'survey site' by several orders of magnitude!
(and I have no reason to think that they are 'lying' about that--
but for most of the 'studies' there is reportedly a degree of 'screening' first
before you are accepted to participate, might even have to accept a short phone interview about it---
unlike the majority of 'internet survey sites' where you might
'work all day' on your smartphone and struggle to make $5---
and I have DONE that when I had no other source of income!)
Now, I actually HAVE also been a member of YouGov for over a year,
and I have made about $25 every three months, and about $100 a year--
doing all the surveys that they offer me, which is usually about one every other day---
(It pays for almost all of my garbage pickup services,
for which I have to pay every three months, and to which I have now habitually allocated their payments to me.
I have always taken a pre-paid VISA card as my reward!)
