Good morning my DU family,

One of the oldest adages I know is the classic "I'll get out of it what I put into it."

That's especially true when I comes to the starts of my day. Whether it's at 4 am, or 10 am, there are three ingredients I "require" to start a day right.

1. Take my medications lol
2. Listen to Cuddles purr as I wash his head with my goatee,
3. Be still until something beautiful strikes me to greet you with.

What matters the most is that these things are really important because I really must have positivity and hope visible to me so I can reach them always.

All of this to just to say, even in the midst of everything going on around us that seems overwhelming, beauty and hope and love emanate f om within us out, like a underground spring that feeds a lake. Let's remember to drink from that water daily!

Please give us a day filled with opportunities to embrace our role in feeding those hopeful springs and lakes, to be that refreshing drink of positivity for someone near us today.

Have a thirst quenching day DU.

Love, John
