(8,539 posts)Someone else complimented you on the amount of detail, but what I find even more impressive is that you never lost the big simpler shapes that make up the composition as you added that detail.
Really nice atmospheric perspective, too.

(39,776 posts)I did this per request of a friend, from a photograph, so the composition was pretty much already set. Sometimes I wish I didnt focus on detail so much! I tend to get bogged down with it, or so I feel, maybe its just me. But I do appreciate your comments! Thanks for being so encouraging!
I wonder if I should have put some people standing on the overlook platform on the far right. There were none in the photo so I felt that I should just stick to that. But maybe it would have been nice to see people there? Give it a perspective?
