That’s very impressive OcelotII! To a layman anyway. Well that slipped out. It wasn’t meant obnoxiously. Quite the reverse. Added the qualifier without thinking to preempt a theoretical, snooty professional who might find my enthusiasm gauche 🧐 .
That’s really cool.

especially the rocks, and water. 👍

While I've not painted in a long time; I've drawn a lot of rocks, and water.

And I'm only very occasionly snooty. 😉

The rocks and foliage (ivy?) stirred up a nice memory. Thought for a moment this was in the Michigan U.P. where I spent many vacations as a kid.

The rocks, and watefall, water pool are particularly well done!

I'm thinking of re-trying gouache bc the smell of acrylics is beginning to annoy me.

I'm sure you're going to get better and better if you keep practicing!

It looks very real. At first view I thought it was a photograph.

I recently painted a waterfall with rocks like that but yours is much better than mine. You got the moss on the rocks to look like real moss ….. 🙂. Fabulous job!

I can't do 2-D art at all. It just isn't my friend. I'm a jewelry designer who just cannot paint, but I admire painters!
