Like, I first became aware of it when a few seconds of an ad for it played when I clicked on a different song. That song was instantly forgotten—“What is this song? Who is that?”

Although there are a few older Depeche Mode songs I like, I haven’t been such a huge fan of DM that I instantly recognized them in the video, so I was surprised
I reacted so strongly to Ghosts Again.

A little research finally revealed that the song was co-written by Martin Gore of DM and Richard Butler formerly of The Psychedelic Furs and that’s when it clicked into place, because there are elements of this song that remind me of PF songs I like. As far as I’m concerned, some alchemy between the two of them produced a song even greater than the sum of the two parts.

They have been a solid band for over 40 years now, I know they are older but they got their groove in the later 80s.
