Mont St. Michel, inside the walls

We stayed the night. Gloomy night and sunny next day. You could wear your shutter out at this place.
Next will be the monastery.

Welcome

Low tide morning.

Wonderful close-ups. I've almost always seen Mt. St. Michel taken from the coast. erronis 5 hrs ago #1

And what is that thing you call a "shutter"? The world of photography is changing so quickly that now even our cell phones mimic the wonderful clicking sound.

Mine still has a mirror. Don't know about a shutter.
I like the click on the phone to let me know something happened.

Just make sure you get an accurate tide table. 😉

Did you visit the WWII museum, cemeteries, monuments etc. yet? They're well worth it. Just let your Imagination flow.

To get there now. I guess it does flood some on king tides. They run shuttle busses from a huge parking place on land. Go off season if you can. I can't imagine how packed it would be on season. There is also a bus that runs from the local train station.
We did hit the museum in Caen. We didn't go to the one at Sword. I was more interested but was out voted. We have been to the one at Dieppe previously.

"Low tide in the morning" in particular is a beautiful scene of serenity.
