Really. I have no idea how he managed to convince her to do it, but they were married when this picture was taken. My cousin passed last year, and and when we were at the house afterward, Mr. Burton introduced me to his wife and daughter and said that Mike had inspired him to propose! A genuinely nice person, but the whole cast was.

The 'Luke and Laura' saga. I remember when that was going on. It was very popular with the college kids for some reason. Suddenly, the daytime soaps had a much bigger audience. Who remembers the 'fabulous Crystal Room!'?

He's such a great guy. His FB page is an absolute favorite for me. He talks about issues, and causes he believes in, and current events.. He communicates with people in comments and there's a real sense of community. I just love him.
