Bonneville County prosecutor (R) seeks judgeship in May election

Bonneville County Prosecutor Randy Neal is running for a judgeship in Idaho's 7th Judicial District.

Neal will oppose District Judge Steven Boyce in the upcoming primary election on May 19. The district is comprised of Bingham, Bonneville, Butte, Clark, Custer, Fremont, Jefferson, Lemhi, Madison and Teton counties. Voters in all 10 counties will vote on this position.

District judges are up for election every four years. Boyce won unopposed in May 2022.

Gov. Brad Little appointed Boyce to the 7th Judicial District in 2019. He has served in the position since.
