Clark County Sherriff's can go pound sand

All my years covering IHSAA events, postseason, regardless of what level, I haven't needed a press pass to have free rein after a game to stand in a place to do interviews.

That was until a power-tripper from the Sherriff's Office told me I couldn't stand in a certain area after my team lost a playoff game today because I didn't have a reporter ID. I was like, "Oh come on!"

"One more word, and you're out of here."

I say nothing.

"Out!"

So, I leave the area he was in, but I shot him a glare, and a mean look in anger.

"I'm not playing! I'm not playing!"

So, he gets his phone out, calls for backup, they come towards me, I'm worried I'm going to get arrested, but diffuse the situation explaining who I am, though I'm still not allowed to be in that area - even though some of the team's parents and fans stood up for me to them.

I took a picture of them and reported them to my boss, who I guess is handling it. I'm still hot from it.
