I’ve called Oneonta home for nearly 20 years. This is where I raised my family, survived my toughest battles, and found the neighbors who shaped me. I’m Will Rivera, and I’m running because our community deserves a Town Supervisor who listens and fights for us.

Service that shows up
For over ten years, I led Otsego County’s safe shelter for survivors of domestic violence and oversaw the county shelter for our unhoused neighbors.
Helped pass legislation in NY and across the country to protect survivors of violence and bring resources home.
Appointed to SUNY Oneonta’s University Council and NYS Law Enforcement Accreditation Council; served on boards focused on public safety, youth opportunity, housing, and survivor justice.
Secured state funding and built trauma-informed programs that continue serving Oneonta.
What I’ll fight for as your Town Supervisor
Transparency you can follow from your phone– plain language updates, accessible meetings, and decisions you can trace.
Homes people can afford– protect neighborhoods, regulate short-term rentals, and plan growth that puts people first.
Safe, healthy communities– protect our water and green space, fix unsafe corridors, and support responsive services.
