Alamo Drafthouse in Raleigh. Maybe other theaters in state, too?

If you are in the Raleigh area, they have opened a second screen and there are still seats available.

If you are going, DU mail me. I will be there.

and watching Rev. Barber deliver his comments from the pulpit of his church in Greensboro.

The movie is of the 2 night recording session in Los Angeles for her gospel album she put out n 1972. It was done in front of a live audience in a church. Due to technical problems, the video footage was never aired on TV or released as a film until now.

What a powerful singer. Barber talked about the Biblical basis for singers in troubled times and called for the need for powerful singers to raise their voices for social justice now.

If you were a fan of Aretha you will enjoy the movie.
