North Myrtle Beach candidates share visions at forum ahead of Election Day
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - With Election Day right around the corner, residents heard from North Myrtle Beach leadership candidates Wednesday evening.
Destination Myrtle Beach held a candidate forum at the North Myrtle Beach High School auditorium, where candidates for city council and mayor shared their ideas for the city.
This is the first time in over two decades that North Myrtle Beach will have a new mayor.
“It’s a big deal, and we want to make sure people are really thinking about what that means,” said Cheryl Kilday, president and CEO of Destination North Myrtle Beach. “It’s a pivot, it’s a change.”
