Two recreation centers to close for special election
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Virginians will be heading to the polls on April 21 to vote in a special election on an amendment to the state constitution.
Because of the election, various locations and schools will be closed that day.
In Charlottesville, these closures will impact the Carver and Key recreation centers, both of which are used as polling locations.
The city Department of Parks and Recreation says Key Recreation Center will close at 5 p.m. on April 20 to allow election officials to set up.
