I live in a very red state that also happens to be predominately Methodist and have gotten many people (particularly women) to take a second look at Hillary by talking to them about John Wesley's motto being the guiding force in her life every since she joined the church at age 12. jftr - I am agnostic but ethnic Methodist so can do the social gospel thingie.
