US Savings Bonds
Just a question I would like to ask a DU'er.
Are US savings bonds on the chopping block too??? I am in possession of two. Could I have these redeemed?
Thanks

(37,954 posts)the FDIC, are our bank accounts safe now? Trump has also killed the stock and bond markets. All things considered
US Bonds are about as safe as any alternative.

(5,714 posts)I have some older I-Bonds that are currently earning a good total rate since their initial base interest was quite a bit higher than current base rate so I may hold them to maturity which is 30 years. Best to check the Treasury website to find out current value if cashed in.
