Putin Under Huge Pressure to Make Grave Mistake. Russia's War Communications Collapsed. - The Russian Dude

In this video, we break down how a quiet technical change triggered one of the most revealing collapses in Russia’s war effort to date, exposing just how fragile Kremlin military communications really are. When Starlink quietly enforced device white lists and cut off unauthorized terminals, Russian forces didn’t just lose convenience — they lost the backbone of frontline coordination, drone guidance, and real-time command and control. Units went silent, operations unraveled, and pro-war voices openly panicked, revealing that Russia’s army had built daily combat operations on smuggled Western technology it neither controlled nor officially acknowledged.

This analysis explains why the Starlink restriction was so devastating, how Ukraine’s IT-driven approach allowed it to surgically shut down Russian access without harming its own forces, and what this moment says about years of Russian planning based on shortcuts, improvisation, and denial. We explore how temporary fixes quietly became doctrine, how a lack of redundancy created a single point of failure, and why this communications shock fits a broader pattern of systemic avoidance inside Russia’s military machine.

Most importantly, we examine the pressure now building around Vladimir Putin to make a grave strategic mistake by forcing a rushed, symbolic replacement like GLONASS into widespread use. Marketed as a patriotic alternative, Russia’s domestic navigation system suffers from corruption, instability, and performance gaps that could introduce even more dangerous failures through false reliability and complacency. This video connects the dots between corruption, technological fragility, war endurance over effectiveness, and why Russia’s conflict strategy is optimized not for victory, but for endless continuation.

Russia has been using unregistered/illegal starlink units because the Russian systems do not work. Musk is now only allowing authorized/whitelisted units to work which is hurting the Russian military operations.

The Russian invasion force is in disarray following the deactivation of its Starlink satellite communications. Meanwhile Ukrainians are rushing to get their terminals whitelisted to maintain the service.

Both sides have made extensive use of the commercial Starlink service, which provides long-range, jam-resistant communication. Now the service operated by SpaceX is being denied to the Russians, and only terminals officially registered in Ukraine will work.

“The Starlink terminals added to the ‘whitelist’ are working. The Russians’ terminals have already been blocked,” Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov said in a statement on Thursday,

The effect on the Russians has been catastrophic, with some units reporting 90% loss of internet communications. There have reportedly been a rash of ‘friendly fire’ incidents as the Russians struggle to tell friend from foe.

“All command and control of the [Russian] troops has collapsed. Assault operations have been halted in many areas,” stated Serhii ‘Flash’ Beskrestnov, electronic warfare expert and adviser to Fedorov.
