They are really cat people. In videos of rear eschellon command centers or front line bunkers you see many cats. Russians don't have much concern for their fellow human beings. The Ukrainians care enough about their cats and dogs to go out of their way to rescue them. You can tell a great deal about people by the way they treat their pets.
