Visibility is IMPORTANT! (OSLO Pride 2025 PSA)

I just saw this powerful PSA from Oslo Pride, and it really hit home. In a time where being visible can feel like a 'leap of faith,' this video reminds us why those small symbols matter. The word you see (TRYGG) is Norwegian for 'Safe.' It's also a reminder of why it's important to stand up to, and call out, the ridicule, slurs and weaponization of our community... our identities... and our culture. Whether it's microaggressions or outright bullies, we can't remain silent.

"There is a lot of talk lately about what the rainbow colors actually mean. The answer is quite simple: Showing who you are -- or who you stand with -- isn’t just decoration. It means that there is room for you, that you belong, and that you are safe (trygg).
