Can't remember when I quit exactly - somewhere @ 1993 or so. I do know it was a Halloween night.

Anyway, Merry sober Christmas to you and yours, Bif!

Holidays are much more fulfilling when you can actually be present and not in a alcohol or drug induced stupor. I've managed to remain happy joyful and free since 82 and life just keeps getting better.

Anyone who wants can bring wine. But I'm not providing that any longer.

We're taking two cars over to my B-I-L's house. I plan on splitting a little after dinner--doing the ol' Irish Goodbye. My pregnant daughter will drive my wife home later.

Boy, I remember getting incredibly hammered and driving across town home. Thank the Supreme Being I never got into an accident o a DUI. Those days are long behind me.
