Spring has sprung

The size of the photos are limited to 2 meg by the free photo uploading site I use.

Esperanza, just beginning to bloom, a bush that gets 6’ tall and covered with yellow blooms all summer.

Knockout Roses

Amaryllis behind a Mystic Spire Salvia

Confederate Jasmine (honeysuckle) on the fence.

Oleander

7-8 feet tall, a living fence.

Salvia

A very drought tolerant plsnt.

The first Plumeria bloom

They’re so easy to grow. Just cut off a limb and stick it in the ground, but they die to the ground after a freeze.

We’ve had hard freezes the last four years. The mature plants have always come back from the roots. The day before an expected freeze. I severely prune them, saving the cuttings in the garage until Spring, when I plant the cuttings.
