Monday -- KC and Shadow Day -- KC Goes Outside.

KC really likes the bed in the living room. I showed Shadow this photo.

Next day she glanced over at him, said "Y'know — this used to be my bed."

KC ~ "But I really like it."

Shadow agreed to share the "pet bed."
KC went outside the other day. Sniffed the porch,

then Shadow sniffed him.

KC continued on his way.

Strolled out to Mommy's shed,


where Shadow caught up with him.

Didn't find anything of interest, headed back out.


Shadow found him again.

She got distracted, KC kept on going. So much to see.


He swung around to the back porch. Trying to hide from the dog?

Silently KC slipped away.

I found him back at the front door. Let him in. Time to eat.

Then to rest from the adventure.

Puppydog too. She was poopered out.

Later on KC relaxed with Mommy and her plugged-in iPad.

Guess where he spent the night . . . (What Shadow doesn't know is ok with him.)

Great photos and story, George McGovern! I like them all, of course, but my favorite is KC "hiding" from Shadow. What a hoot! That must be what they call hiding in plain sight.

With KC curled up in the last picture, he looks like my Holly.
