Cat people, how often do you replace plastic kitty litter pans?

I wash the pans that my 2 uses, with Murphy oil soap on a rotating schedule. I have 2 stainless steel & 1 eighteen month old plastic pan that is showing wear & tear

I have a heavy-duty rubberized pan that I've had for years. I only need to clean it every couple of years. Thankfully!

and I scrub them out about once a year. Been doing that for a number of years......about 25 or so.
I have always had cats, some times more, some times less. Only have the four presently.

Had one for 16+ years. Maybe old enough to be made well?

to clean the cat's box (Ben), too! I have not found the need to replace it, yet. It's cracked a little at the handle (but, it doesn't affect the pans sturdiness, and the fracture is not of hazard to the cat).

... but I'm sure it would just need a rinse to drop it into the recycle bin (we get big 88 gallon ones on wheels, so I know it'd fit).

I just replace them if they get gross. And I’ve hardly ever needed to replace one.
