and his impersonations are spot on.

Cubans are fleeing an openly communist and hostile government, and have always received special status (2 year humanitarian parole) when they come ashore. If they're still inside that window they should be good to go. If they're not, they have ideally been working toward permanent residency while that two year clock ran down. The courts have been very clear on this.
