It is a balmy 24 degrees F with a windchill of 10 in my little part of Texas.😳

The good news? All those little blood sucking mosquitoes are dying!

I do not know how y’all live in such cold weather! Yesterday my HEB looked like a hurricane was coming! 😂No freshly baked flour tortillas? C’mon man!

1. We got snow here in North Alabama this morning.

Fortunately it was too warm yesterday for it to stick on the roads. It's 30/feels like 25, but the high is only 35 and tomorrow morning's low is to be 17.

2. From a Montanan, it's layers. Lots and lots of layers. Underwear, then long underwear, then outwear, then fleece, then

down, then hats, gloves, fleece lined boots, etc., etc. See, it's not so bad. LOL.

3. 30M people are under the Winter Weather Warning

Not just snow - it’s snowing here right now - but really really cold. I heard that number in NPR yesterday.

Richmond VA. The Weather Channel now says just over 2 inches expected. The projections were from 3-12 inches. Va. Beach and Norfolk were supposed to get the worst of this.

4. Daffodils are being stunted. They should be up with buds on them by now.

17° here in Delaware right now windchill is 7°. What’s worse, the assholes will start claiming this proves that global warming is a hoax.

5. +24f?

That's going to be our high temp for the day, a heat wave compared to the rest of the state where they'll be lucky to see -10F today.

The good part is that it finally stopped snowing, after 7 solid days. Had to clear of at least a foot of snow from my car each morning this week to go to doctors appointments. It's a chore in wind and deep snow. One of the local deer fawn from last summer has taken to hanging out on my little porch for a little while every day. Not sure why, I don't feed it of have anything they could eat on the porch. Maybe it likes to warm itself by the dryer vent.

It is going to warm up soon so hang in there. We'll be having a slow moving heat wave coming in starting today, could be in the high +40s by the weekend!

7. +3F where I am,

8 miles south of the Wisconsin state line and that's an improvement over
yesterday when it was -5. But next week we're having a warm-up with temps
in the mid 40s. Shorts weather!

8. It's 5* here in Missouri!

Expected to be -10 later today. It is 55* in my house. I have on double and triple layers. I just swept the snow off the porch. I do not look forward to the next two days. I’m hoping for a break in the weather.
