Yikes...

This is the weather outlook for today in my area:

Today
A 20 percent chance of rain before 11am. Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Southwest wind 43 to 50 mph, with gusts as high as 70 mph.

I'm housebound since my door is facing into the wind. If I can get it opened I might get hurt and may not be able to close it again!

go outside for a self-sand blast.

take a bet with yourself on closing that front door

take a bet with yourself on top speed of wind gusts

A window is getting blown out the other side.

Working on getting rid of the snow on the roof.

We HAD three feet of snow on the ground Wednesday afternoon, almost gone now. My 4runner is sitting at the body shop, outside, we've been waiting for a part then the week of snowfall happened. I called after the snow stopped on Thursday and asked about when they would start work, since the part was in. They told me that they had to dig out a Pathfinder that day and it took three hours to get it out. Since we all new this 40+ weather was coming over the weekend, he said they would start working on it Monday when they could drive it across the street without digging. We both laughed.

Everyone here knows about the wind, it's a 350 day a year thing here.
