Putin is a fascist, the precise opposite of communism.

Allowing the Republicans take the color red is a disappointing development in our nation's recent history. The red flag represents the blood shed by workers who have toiled under the tyranny of the capitalist system. The GOP is not a party for the workers.

The use of the hammer and sickle was intentional on my part. While you and I would recognize the current Russian flag I suspect the vast majority of people I was hoping to insult with the graphic will not. Trump voters probably cannot recognize their state flag let alone the new Russian one.

The old USSR flag is quite well associated with oppression and taking out one's enemies by the Politburo. I dare not use the Nazi Swastika for the fascism of Trump due to the violent outrage that would cause.
