3. The little guy's reportedly much, much happier than in that picture,

and he apparently doesn't have lung damage. He would have been with his mother for 2 years, so once well he'll go to a wildlife sanctuary to be raised. Another pair of small cubs, 3 weeks old, orphaned in the LA mountains have just been sent to a wildlife conservation area in Scottsdale. Who knows? Maybe they'll be playing together before long.
