CALL TO ACTIVISM: 🚨BREAKING: Sen. Chris Murphy just delivered one of the most important addresses in modern history

🚨BREAKING: Sen. Chris Murphy just delivered one of the most important addresses in modern history.

Trump is exploiting the Charlie Kirk tragedy to weaponize his government against his critics. But what Democrats want to do next will change everything. 👉

Congressional Democrats have unveiled The NOPE Act - the No Politicsl Enemies Act - which would create a firewall so no president can ever weaponize government to punish their enemies.

Murphy: “This was the moment to bring the country together… but Trump and his lieutenants are exploiting tragedy to destroy their political opposition.”

Last night, Trump’s FCC forced a network to yank Jimmy Kimmel off the air — silencing a critic who refused to parrot Trump’s narrative.

“That’s censorship. That’s state speech control. That’s not America,” Murphy declared.

He is not my Senator, but I have been following him closely since Trump won...he looks to be ready for a presidential run. If he goes for it, I suspect he will receive a great deal of support.

Announcements are an ACT that begins all the other acts. So don't set yourself up for confusion and disappointment when you don't see this served up like fast food.

Creativity in millions of public protest signs and messaging.

Enthusiasm in the aforesaid. Enthusiasm in town halls.

Energy in the aforesaid. Energy in the youth GOTV demographic.

Organizing across groups that support Democrats. (A thread was locked so that I can't link this post, so I'll just post the text here in full):

“Some people” or “some group” repeat the tapes corporate media have fed the public over the years about Democrats not doing enough, even when their "doings' have outstripped everything rethugs have ever done. This year is no different.

Now Axios joins other media starved for content, blowing up more piles of the same weak, dishonest bullshit of "Democrats don't do enough" because even media know the old "both sides do it" narrative is self-evidently stupid.

In Congress minority party status gets ignored or shaded or doubted or damned no matter what it does.

But across all states, much resistance continues in protests and federal district court filings.

Brief (but not exhaustive) Review of Democrats and Democrat adjacent organizations who've resisted without proportional media coverage:

Blue state governors --
CA's Gavin Newsom, IL Gov. JB Pritzker, CO Gov. Jared Polis, KY Gov Andy Bashear, MA Gov. Maura Healey, NY Gov Kathy Hochul , “Trump proof-ing” their states; beefing up teams of lawyers

Attorneys General --
CA AG Rob Bonta, IL AG Kwame Raoul, CO AG Phil Weiser, MN AG Keith Ellison, NJ AG Matthew Platkin, NY AG Letitia James, OR AG Dan Rayfield, WA AG Nick Brown , leveraged their large staffs to jointly file against the lawlessness of the felon and his cabinet

Organizations --
American Civil Liberties Union, Democracy Forward, EarthJustice, Indivisibles, Marc Elias Group, National Women’s Law Center Action Fund, Planned Parenthood Action Fund and Reproductive Freedom for All,

Democratic Caucuses of the House and Senate --
Senator Chris Van Hollen, Senator Cory Booker, Senator Bernie Sanders, Senator Adam B. Schiff , Reps. Jamie Raskin, Maxwell Frost, Representative Hakeem Jeffries organizing shadow hearings, Senator Brian Schatz of Hawaii put holds on the felon's nominees, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez setting public donation records, red district townhalls, media commentary,

Corporate media want to amplify that it's not enough that Democrats have put their bodies down on the tracks, getting arrested, indicted, tackled.

I was looking through all of my old "images" of tRump since 2016 last night when I was super pissed off after learning about Kimmel. I have made bumper stickers, earrings, and signs during my 30+ protests from 2016-2020 and 2025.

I was going to make my NO KINGS protest sign for Oct 18th with an image/silkscreen of tRump's make-up covering over his bruise on his hand with the word "HOPE".

I think I will use both since I have a 2 sided sign.

The "NOPE act" is my newest theme as an illustrator.
