When Stephen Colbert ran for president: Meet the Press Archive - NBC News
OCT. 21, 2007 — Stephen Colbert, host of "The Colbert Report," joined Meet the Press as he announced a bid for president in South Carolina, receiving the full MTP treatment from Tim Russert. Colbert returned in 2014 for an interview that was both in and out of character.
