3. The Texas GOP primary has long featured putrid vs. putrid

assuming a challenger shows up, which is a rarity if the sitting senator is putrid enough to suit the oil boys. Until Texans realze how much they are being had by the GOP and take a chance on the slightly saner party, putrid wll continue to rule with an iron fist.

So it matters little to me whether the crook Paxton wins or the company man Cornyn wins.

4. Paxton more MAGA looney than Cornyn

which will be better for Talarico. The more MAGA looney the GOP candidate, the better for dems. We'll see what happens and face who ever it is because Cornyn has voted with Trump most of the time and that's a liability.

5. Even Texans know he's a crook

and since this is an off year when MAGAts can't vote for Fatso running illegally as a third party candidate, there is an excellent chance MAGA will stay home instead of voting.

It's still a long shot, but Paxton has a chance of losint.

If Cronyn pulls out a primary win, this isn't particularly good news since he ,ostly votes with MAGA. He's almost as putrid a candidate as Paxton.
