Former Navy Commander BLASTS Trump for STUNT - Meidas Touch

In this video, Bobby Jones breaks down why Donald Trump’s latest push for a military parade is not just misguided—it’s a costly, un-American spectacle. He explores the real history of military parades in the United States, from the Civil War to Desert Storm, and explains how Trump’s version is pure political theater. It’s not about honoring service—it’s about ego. - 06/14/2025.

In 1991, the intention was clearly to honor the troops. This parade is clearly to stroke the ego of one person and it’s disgusting.

Since it wasn't about him. I looked it up and it was Gerald Ford who I'm sure celebrated with the rest of us.

We got to perform for the Bicentennial celebration, and that was the last time I played my trombone.

4. Very cool! It's tough to believe it was that long ago and Gerald Ford was a much different Republican president

When Jimmy Carter was elected, he and Gerald Ford became good friends and since Ford had been in Congress and Carter was a governor, Ford gave Carter a lot of advice about getting bills through Congress. Ford also asked his friend to give his eulogy.
