In 1991, the intention was clearly to honor the troops. This parade is clearly to stroke the ego of one person and its disgusting.

Since it wasn't about him. I looked it up and it was Gerald Ford who I'm sure celebrated with the rest of us.

We got to perform for the Bicentennial celebration, and that was the last time I played my trombone.

When Jimmy Carter was elected, he and Gerald Ford became good friends and since Ford had been in Congress and Carter was a governor, Ford gave Carter a lot of advice about getting bills through Congress. Ford also asked his friend to give his eulogy.
