It's a cogent analysis by those who don't want to keep losing. Democrats' approval ratings are at all time low, yet you insist the status quo prevail. The determination to maintain permanent seats for incumbents seeks to enforce a House of Lords over democracy, with life-time fiefdoms rather than a democratic process.

Hogg's proposal is for SAFE BLUE SEATS. There is no reason that Americans should not have the right to choose the representative that they see fit. Your claim that enforcing permanent incumbency is antithetical to that goal, which is the foundation of democracy.

Did you also oppose AOC's primary challenge in a safe blue seat? I remember the exact same arguments floating around, that somehow miraculously a Republican would win in a blue district. That absurd argument was circulated simply because too many wanted to enforce permanent incumbency.
