...unless there is significant change before this goes into effect. There was a post on bluesky, I think (that I didn't copy, alas), saying that hospitals have paid ~$5K for non-citizens who are working until licensure (doctors, techs, pharmacists). Hospitals would be unable and unwilling to pay $100K to sponsor an employee making an average of $55K.
