And that makes him even more furious and looking to hurt even more people to assuage the bad feels he gets for failing yet again. Each failure, which he authors himself, just make him more enraged, irrational, and dangerous.

He is Charles Manson in a blue suit. He needs to be committed to a facility for the criminally insane, because he is.
