5. FIFA won't do shit. The organization had no problem with 6500 foreign workers dying to build stadiums for the last Cup.

There were thousands more workers injured and many went without pay for months. Maybe they didn't even get paid. They certainly didn't if they died on the job.

If anything, FIFA, like the Olympics, has a grand tradition of accommodating dictators. And the players won't dare boycott the World Cup because their respective national federations would make sure they'd never play for the national team ever again, whether it's in the World Cup or in continental tournaments like the Euro.
