In exchange for help getting elected, he has agreed to the Russian and Chinese concept of "multipolarity" - dividing the world into 3 regions, controlled by each super power. Russia gets Europe, Chinese gets Asia, and the US gets the Americas, Canada and Greenland. They can only achieve this by overriding democracies.

That was the original concept behind Putin's 2014 invasion of Ukraine, and China's strategic claims throughout Asia.

Not sure how they plan to divvy up Africa.
