Petr Macinka's comments and Ivan Krastev's comments to be striking. Petr was a blustery "the left goes too far because of trans gender" ideologue spewing surface talking points. Ivan, in contrast, was talking about much deeper core and substantive issues. Even if you disagree, you can have a conversation with Ivan. Not so much with Petr. I would say that is because people like Petr have no moral or ethical grounding - they just have policies they want to impose on others.
