(860 posts)51. It is funny and sad that I--and I am sure many others here at DU--never even considered any other possibility...
..than that they are being prepared for the "enemies of the state"; nor that the anti-immigrant campaign rhetoric was ever anything less than a cover story for the real endgame of eliminating all opposition.
But that's just the basic playbook of authoritarianism.
However, the purchasing of actual real estate to do the housing is starting to hit far too close to home.
