Acquired enough money to indulge in his preferred lifestyle, and thinks he did it on his own, not seeing how much of his money collection depended on hundreds of other people working just as hard or harder than he did, and a government with taxes and regulations that gave him the resources and even playing field to make all his money.
"I made all my money on my own" is what a thief says. Everyone else makes their income and gets resources to survive through community activities.
When was the last time you saw someone head out into the wilderness with just some clothes, a blanket, a leatherman knife, and a pair of boots for a year and come back healthy and prosperous?
Even back in the day, "Mountain Men" and prospectors came back into town or worked with local tribes and ranchers on a regular basis to trade and get supplies. And they depended on those trips and the fairness of the local governments or good will of others in general to survive.
Libertarians, like most 10 year olds playing cowboy or explorer, always forget how much they depend on others to survive.
