56. I agree, the state of the media in the US is really bad

For the most part, independent journalism is dead. I don’t think it’s much better in the UK either. I find their coverage too tabloidy and sensationalistic. It’s especially impossible to get reasonable coverage on the Middle East in the US. Occasionally the New York Times will have good in depth and surprisingly critical coverage of a certain country, but for the most part it’s very biased.
