23. What's been normalized is that American voters are collectively dumb enough to elect #rump twice

That's now a world-wide perception that won't change when #rump is gone, and it'll take more than one generation to erase that perception. That's something that's shaken me like none of those things you mentioned, because it casts doubt on the fundamental health of our democracy and the soundness of the supposed guardrails, and therefore doubts about it's future. Yes, one way or another, I believe we'll survive, but the next wannabe fascist dictator might not be as incompetent as this one.
