7. Had the CIA not overturned the democratically elected government of Iran in 1953, we might not be at this point today.

They were protecting the profits of the US and British oil giants of the day. The people of Iran have suffered ever since, through the US-installed Shah's brutal persecutions to the brutal repression and persecution of the ayatollahs. The illegal actions of government have consequences that can last for decades. I fear that we will suffer many consequences well into the future from Trump's depredations on other countries.
