... there are Spanish-speaking people there. When Americans turn down work picking crops, the corporate farms will hire whoever is cheapest to do that job, and that means poor Latin American immigrants, especially undocumented. Same with several other industries, which absolutely **RELY** on having a low-paid underclass with no benefits and no ability to stand up to their employers without drastic reprisals. This country was built up on slave labor, and now that slavery is illegal, corps need a reasonable facsimile to turn to. Now Trmp wants to deport everyone Hispanic, CITIZEN OR NOT. That's not an economic or social "policy", it's pure, undiluted racism. And about one third of America voted for it. And it's economically disastrous for a number of industries.
