Iran has the capacity to launch terror and cyber attacks against allies and US. Due to DOGE, partisan firings of FBI and cyber officials, and lack of focus or know how by AG Bondi and DHS Noem, they are ignoring this possibility completely.

and Timothy Snyder thinks part of the reason for this invasion of Iran is for Trump to be able to create emergency powers around the 2026 elections.

Applegrove: So maybe not protecting US from Iranian cyber attacks and the Homeland from Iranian terrorism is part of that Trump election interfereance gambit and intentional.
