33. I hear your frustration. What policies should the Democratic Party be putting forth...

...to uplift BW?

As a WM I honestly do not know what to press my representatives to do in this regard.

Obviously, no party is ever going to be perfect. Especially one as diverse as the Democratic Party--which is my original reason for supporting it since way back in the day when I actually became of an age to be politically aware. Democracy needs representation from everyone in a society in order to do the things that each of those groups need.

So many things the Democratic Party stands for--affordable healthcare, fair taxation, protecting the environment, ending discrimination, reasonable gun laws, affordable education for everyone, etc.--would be good for the entire population. But each of those has been a fight with the other side, and those fights are often--sometimes always--lost on the political battlefield. But that does not mean they were abandoned.

I try not to lose sight of those things even when I become frustrated with the whole political process.
