98. No one said '"shut up and stay in line".

This is absolutely correct. NO ONE said that. Several people have asked for clarification/elaboration on what the Democratic Party needs to do to support black women better. That doesn't sound at all like "shut up and stay in line" to me. It sounds like an expression of concern. It sounds like "Please tell us how we can help."

No, the Democratic Party is not perfect, but what is the alternative? As a WW, I don't see one. What other major political 0arty in this country shows any concern for women of ANY color? If Republicans had their way, abortion AND birth control would be outlawed, divorce would be almost impossible, any semblance of a social safety net wpilr be obluterated and women would be denied the vote. And that's not even getting into what the GOP wants to do to black and brown people.

I love Jasmine Crockett and would love to see her elected to the Senate. I love seeing women and poc elected to high office in general, But the possibility of getting a Democrat into that Senate seat has to be our highest priority in this race. It's hard to imagine ANY Democrat getting elected to the Senate in Texas, especially after watching Beto lose in 2018 (Holy cow, has it REALLY been 8 years?), but it sounds like Talarico may actually have the best chance any Democrat has had in a long time. I don't live in Texas, but if I did, I would have no problem voting for him in November, even though Crockett might have been my first choice in the primary. To do anything else would be cutting off my nose to spite my own face.
