Access to the internet has really ramped up manifestations of confirmation bias. Searching for confirmation of what you already believe is the opposite of research. Oh, looky here, this college professor says masks don't work. What's that? You say his expertise is in geology? Note: this is an actual example from the early days of COVID-19.
