30. My point wasn't that his support is actually going up

it is that his most ardent supporters are losing their shit and screaming constantly about their mad god-king. They are certain that their beliefs are reality.

I live in a very red area where a number of people have made adoration of that creature their entire personalities.....and they are hanging on tighter and tighter.

That's why it is interesting to me.

They will eventually come to some form of closure, but it endangers their sense of self as they have made their entire existence about their adoration of this one man, or whatever he is.

Given who some of these people are, I honestly fear they will become violent.

Most of the signs and flags have come down, but the ones that still have theirs up or have added new ones....those are the people I worry about.
