11. The Potemkin village constructed on a foundation of lies is bound to crumble

The question is how long before the wrecking ball of reality reduces it to rubble for all to see, and how much of America's foundation will crumble along with it.

Our Constitutional rule of law is proving only as sound as the judgment of US voters, who cast enough votes to give both GW Bush and [REDACTED] two terms in the White House. [REDACTED] wields his own wrecking ball, doing incalculable damage in 14 months with 34 more months to go.

American prosperity post-WW2 was built on an international order with strong alliances and trading partnerships anchored not just by our military might but by stability and trust in the dollar as the default world currency.

[REDACTED] has alienated our allies and trading partners, destroying trust that perhaps can never be fully regained. What happens when US Treasury bonds are no longer seen as a safe investment, the dollar is dumped, and our $39+ trillion national debt is added to reality's wrecking ball?
