If you though tariffs threw a monkey wrench into the economy, wait until you see the oil shocks when they get here. Yes, we produce more than we use, but we'll be competing with anyone out there who is willing to buy a tanker full of it at $200/barrel.
We have been here before, people, and this is a fucking rerun for all of us who are over 70. This one will be like most sequels, worse than the original.
Asit plays out, I fully expect him to sink below Nixon's dismal last poll of 24% favorable, and Nixon didn't even bear the brunt of the oil shocks, he just worsened them.

I wouldn't be so sure. Look at those approval numbers on the issues, as low as 22%.

I think that is less than 30%. Across polls, only about 25% say they "strongly approve" of Trump.

I'm not sure we can really expect ANYTHING to ever poll under 30%. Ask 10 Americans how they feel about Norovirus and..
